CTC Radiography Class Does it Again!

Media release: For the third graduating class in a row, Chattahoochee Technical College's most recent Radiography graduates have all passed the national licensure exam on the first attempt. While the exam standards require a 75 percent to pass, CTC's average was 91.

The 16 students who completed their studies over the summer were the seventh class to graduate from the program that began at the North Metro Campus in 2005. Students complete 1500 clinical hours and take nine radiography courses throughout the 21 month program. Students must achieve 57 competencies in order to sit for the national registry exam through the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).

"It is a wonderful accomplishment and speaks well of the students preparation and dedication," said Program Director Deanne Collins. "These students are now equipped to take that next step whether it is continuing their education or joining the workforce."
