Bartow Co. Sheriff's Office make arrest in connection with Missing Man found dead in Kingston

The Bartow County Sheriff's Office has arrested a local man in
connection with the missing man found dead in Kingston last week.

According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, investigators arrested Jason Daniel
Poston, 30, of Cartersville this morning in connection with the case.
The case began when the family of Michael Allen McIntyre reported him to
be missing from his Cartersville home On May 24th. Investigators
discovered a body, believed to be that of McIntyre, on May 30, 2013 on
rural farm property in Kingston, Georgia. Investigators believe that
Poston had assistance from at least one other person in hiding and
disposing of the body on the property and more arrests are expected.

Poston was arrested this morning at the State Probation Office in
Cartersville and has been booked into jail on charges of Concealing the
Death of Another Person, Abandonment of a Dead Body, and Probation
Violation. He is being held without bond at this time.
