Chamber seeks new letters supporting 411 Connector route:
-Citing "a change in leadership at the Georgia Department of Transportation," the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce is asking members to write a letter to Interim Commissioner Keith Golden supporting the proposed route for connector.

Mohawk Industries Inc. posts third-quarter earnings of $47 million:  Mohawk recently announced plans to idle 227 workers as it closes the spun yarn plant off Huffaker Road in Rome.
