Bartow, Polk residents honored by Clean Air Campaign


Cobb EMC proudly celebrates seven employees who were named Clean Air Campaign "Commuter Champions" for eliminating a total of 150,000 pounds of air pollution. Each participates in the co-op's vanpool program and has eliminated 25,000 pounds of pollution. Cobb EMC's recent Commuter Champions include Peggy Bennett of Taylorsville, Ga.; Jason Camp of Hiram, Ga.; Shane Carter of Rockmart, Ga.; Kathy Cook of Cartersville, Ga.; Barry Goughler of Dallas, Ga.; Jami Holcomb of Dallas, Ga. and Greg Pollard of Cedartown, Ga.

Cobb EMC, a longtime partner of the Clean Air Campaign, encourages employees to clean commute through carpools, vanpools or compressed workweeks. More than 260 employees currently participate.
