(Media release) Bartow County Sheriff's investigators have charged three
Acworth juveniles
with a burglary and several thefts.

According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, a residential burglary occurred on
Creek
Trail in Acworth on October 12, 2010 in which televisions, clothing, and
other items were reported stolen. Two bicycles were later recovered that
were reported stolen in Cherokee County. Investigation revealed that the
three teens were responsible for the burglary on Creek Trail and witnesses
in Cherokee County connected the three to a separate burglary where the two
bicycles were stolen.

Bartow County Sheriff's Office investigators worked with Cherokee County
Sheriff's Investigators and linked the teens to these crimes. The
investigation into their activities continues and it is possible that they
may face more charges for other area thefts.

The three were detained Friday, November 5, 2010 and ordered to await a
hearing in custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice at an area youth
detention center.
