-$3.77 million in Bartow tax revenues $4.82 million in state taxes come from tourism.
-Hotel/resort room sales topped $19 million in fiscal 2008 (up 2.4 percent).
-Tourism fed $37.6 million in Bartow restaurant sales, $12 million in retail sales.
