-GOPAC training session due in Rome Oct. 24: Rome Young Republicans are sponsoring a GOPAC training session on Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Comfort Suites off U.S. 411 and Chateau Drive. The seminar is free but reservations are requested (RSVP to romeyoungrepublicans@gmail.com or 706-853-9014).  The session targets those interested in working on campaigns and those considering a run for public office. Tips on campaign tools, techniques, laws, fund raising guidelines and related topics are planned. Lunch will be provided as well.Business
