-Carter Grove Commons seeks tenants: Another move in commercial real estate--after a brief delay, it appears Carter Grove Commons adjacent to Carter Grove Plantation is moving ahead this year. The small retail center will be anchored by the Cartersville area's second Publix off Old Alabama. -One more Cartersville/west side update: The new Arby's is coming together with the basic infrastructure under way. The store is in front of the rapidly completing CVS at Ga. 113 and Douthit Ferry Road.

-Help DDA improve downtown Cartersville Jan. 19: Cartersville Downtown Development Authority is hosting a Town Hall Meeting to solicit input on how to continue to improve and promote Downtown Cartersville. Merchants, property owners and the public are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 6-7 p.m. in The Grand Theatre Encore Room> DDA
