Gas 2012: War's over, prices jump big time
-So much for the Cartersville gas war. By the end of Thursday, those $3.23-per-gallon prices had jumped by 22 cents, even at some of the final holdouts.
-That's still 12 cents better than the lowest price in Rome today.

New Cartersville plant part of a bigger plan: voestalpine, an auto supplier with plans to build a $62 million plant in Cartersville, says the site is part of its ambitious international puzzle. Think China, South Africa, Romania and Germany, too.
