More layoffs at Calhoun's Kobelco Construction Machinery:

The manufacturer has filed noticed with state labor and local officials concerning an extension of some layoffs and overall job separation with other workers, touching 106 employees in all. Kobelco cites a reduction in orders from customers. The first cuts in work force started in January with more posted in early April. That's when Kobelco cut 66 jobs and reduced the hours of 78 others> Kobelco

Bella Roma 'Grill' coming to State Mutual Stadium site: Eddie Hasko says the current location on U.S. 27 "is rocking" and will remain while the new restaurant will feature some familiar menu items and more American food> Dining
