Behind the gas prices
-Through late Monday, gas prices in Floyd were almost 40 cents higher than some counterparts in Bartow County.
-We checked with the state revenue department to see if there's anything 'local' that would make our prices escalate vs. surrounding communities. The answer: Zero factors -- except competition.
