Cartersville Medical Center hosting Girls Night Out

Cartersville Medical Center is hosting "Girls Night Out", featuring the 2012 movie, "What to Expect When You're Expecting" on Thursday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. in Carter Hall at the Clarence Brown Conference Center in Cartersville.

Nurses and midwives will be available to answer questions about "Special Beginnings" services at Cartersville Medical Center, including personalized maternity care, advanced remote-monitoring technology, couplet care and complimentary breast-feeding assistance for new mothers.

Additionally, for those beyond childbearing years, members of the da Vinci® robotic surgical team will be present with information about GYN robotic surgery, which offers less scarring, less risk of complications and infection, a shorter hospital stay and quicker recovery time.

The event is free, however, space is limited.  For more information or to register, call MedLine® at 800.242.5662.  Refreshments will be served.
