'A significant time of reflection' on the 'celebration of the Resurrection'
The Shorter College community gathered for a sunrise prayer service Thursday, led by Dr. Nelson Price, chairman of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Harold E. Newman, Shorter's president, called it "a significant time of reflection during Holy Week as we approach Easter and the celebration of the Resurrection of our Risen Lord. The Shorter family came together to pray for our college community and for one another and to express our gratitude for the blessings God has so graciously bestowed."
