Shaw to close Ringgold plant, idle 430 workers> Chattanooga

-It is Dalton-based Shaw Industry's fourth major layoff in the state this year, including 390 workers in Calhoun. Those four plants alone account for nearly 1,200 job losses since Jan. 1

>More jobs: Look for the state's first-time unemployment insurance claims report later this week. It is an indicator on how the August jobless rate will look.
