American Cancer Society to Hold Special Breakfast in Cartersville March 28 for cosmetologists, nail techs, beauticians, aestheticians and other trained beauty professionals

 

 

 

WHAT: A special breakfast for area cosmetologists, nail techs, beauticians, aestheticians and other trained beauty professionals to learn about the Look Good…Feel Better program in Cartersville and hear the stories of Cartersville cancer patients who have benefited from the service

WHO: Cosmetologists, Nail Techs, Beauticians, Aestheticians and other trained beauty professionals, local media and community members

WHY: The American Cancer Society, in partnership with the National Cosmetology Association, provides the Look Good…Feel Better program in Cartersville. It is a free, community-based program that teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation. The program is priceless in that it helps restore the patients' appearance and self image.

Patients as well as American Cancer Society Staff will be available for interviews at their discretion.
