Another rough month on the jobs front:

-Rome/Floyd loses 300 jobs in May vs. same month in 2010.

-Bartow sees 24% drop in first-time jobless claims.

-Statewide jobless rate unchanged at 9.8%; local stats later this month.

-Officially at the airport:  1.34 inches of rain; 38 mph gusts.

-Thursday: 30% rain chance, high of 93, low of 68.

-Friday: 20% rain chance. High of 97, low of 68.

-Saturday: 20% rain chance, high of 96, low of 69.
