Snow flurries possible after 1 p.m. Wind advisory untli 7 p.m. with 35-mph gusts. Latest on Floyd schools' layoffs

 
Slight chance of afternoon snow flurries today
-After a high of 62 on Friday, we'll struggle to get out of the low 40s today. Add that forecast to the 35-mph wind gusts and we could see a wind chill index that never leaves the 30s today.
-Saturday: High of 43, low of 22. Gusts topping 30 mph possible.
-Sunday: Mostly sunny, high of 48, low of 28.

-Monday: Mostly sunny, high of 61, low of 39; 60% rain chance.
