Storm aftermath report:

-Flash flood watch, wind advisory in effect throughout the morning.

-2.81 inches of rain at the airport since 12:01 a.m. Monday.

-Some trees, power lines down.

-No delayed openings here but GNTC's Walker Campus reports late.

-7,000 without power in Northwest Georgia as of 5 a.m.

-Forecast: Much, much cooler; highs in the low 70s today, Wednesday.
