Bartow History Museum- Lunch & Learn on Rebecca Felton

(Media Release) On Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from noon until 1:00 p.m., the Bartow History Museum will host a very special Lunch and Learn program on the life of Rebecca Felton.  Louise Staman, author of Loosening Corsets, will give a first person presentation of the life of Rebecca Felton in period costume.

Following Mrs. Staman's presentation, there will be a special unveiling of a portrait of Rebecca Felton, on loan to the Bartow History Museum from the Georgia Capital Museum. The portrait will hang in the museum next to other items belonging to Mrs. Felton.

Lunch and Learn lecture will take place at the Bartow History Museum located at 4 E. Church Street in downtown Cartersville.  Parking is available next to the building.  The lecture is free to members and included with the price of admission for not-yet members.  Guests are invited to bring a lunch beginning at 11:45 a.m. and the program will begin at noon.  For more information on this and other BHM programs, call 770-382-3818, ext. 6288 or visit our website at www.bartowhistorymuseum.org
