First-time jobless claims dip in Bartow. 280 layoffs in Calhoun. Jail reports. Latest restaurant scores

 
1,100 fewer jobs in Rome/Floyd in January vs. same month in 2011. Lowest employment level in at least 13 months.
-First-time jobless claims climb down 3.2% in Bartow in January: 1,158 claims.
-Statewide: Jobless rate down to 9.2%, lowest since March 2009.
