Century Bank of the South announces promotions

Media release: Century Bank of Georgia is pleased to announce the promotion of Rachel Harris as Vice-President of Operations. Harris will manage all deposit operations for core processing and any conversion processes. Harris began her career with Century Bank of Georgia in 2006 as Branch Manager for the Cartersville headquarters. She is a graduate of the Georgia School of Banking from the University of Georgia. "Rachel has had a pivotal role in the conversion and assimilation of our Rockmart acquisition, as well as new product development such as mobile banking, and will be instrumental in leading our bank's deposit operations as we continue to bring new products and technologies to our clients, said Chief Executive Officer, Rick Drews." Harris and her husband Mitchell have one son and reside in Calhoun.

 

Century Bank of Georgia is also pleased to announce the promotion of Tamera Ray as Loan Operations Officer. Tamera joined Century Bank of Georgia in 2002 and has worked in the banking industry for nearly twenty years. Drews stated, "Tamera brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this important position, where she'll be responsible for the management of the processing and accounting of the bank's loan portfolio. This department is of critical importance as our bank continues to expand." She most recently served in the role of Executive Assistant to the CEO. Ray resides with her husband, Keith, and two sons in Calhoun.
