Most 2013 high school graduates here plan to continue their education.

-Some will try two-year colleges first, others four-year colleges.

-Others will go right into the work force or the military.

-Tricia Pridemore to seek Gingrey's congressional seat: Tricia Pridemore, one of Gov. Nathan Deal's top operatives, officially jumped in the 11th Congressional District race on Monday, according to several political blogs. A Republican, she joins state Sen. Barry Loudermilk and former Congressman Bob Barr in a very competitive race to represent Bartow and Cherokee counties as well as parts of Cobb and Fulton. Phil Gingrey is running for the U.S. Senate seat Saxby Chambliss is leaving.
