-An inch of rain since 9 p.m. Tuesday: That's about right what the weather forecasters were predicting with a half-inch possible today, less than first believed.

-Flood potential: A flood warning for the Coosa River near Plant Hammond continues. The flash flood watch has been suspended. No other warnings in effect.

-Rivers: Oostanaula / Etowah-Rome / Etowah-Cartersville

-Today: 100% chance of rain; a quarter to a half inch possible. High of 65.

-Tonight: 50% chance of showers. Low around 58.
-Thursday: 60% chance of rain, a quarter to half inch possible. High of 71.
